A few short clips from my animation "Wirruuwaa and the Giant Kangaroos". This was rendered using Unreal Engine 4. Assets created by me were created using Autodesk Maya and SpeedTree with the human models sourced from Autodesk Character Generator and some of the environments sourced from Unreal Marketplace. Motion Capture was performed by an Acting student, Charles Sykes and sound was produced by a Sound Design student, Elizabeth Rehling.
Motion Capture data recorded using OptiTrack Motive and attached to an Autodesk Generated Character model using Autodesk MotionBuilder
A fire simulation test I created in Houdini
I modeled the weapon and shield assets in Autodesk Maya and created the Great Spirit using SideFX Houdini
A volumetric lighting effect added to a title scene of my cat's name and a recreation of the portals from the film Doctor Strange created using particle effects.
Testing lighting effects and trigger boxes in Unreal Engine 4
Camera tracked shot with a 3D element added
Using a photo of a leaf attached to a 3D plane I was able to create this for a 3D animation.
Motion capture data attached to a smoke simulation
Creating a Cut Scene sequence in Unreal Engine 4 that triggers when exiting a cave. Then, allowing it to be replayed from an interactive trigger.
Another Motion Capture test using OptiTrack Motive and Autodesk MotionBuilder. The model comes default with MotionBuilder.
